Brick In Architecture Awards 2011

King's Fork Public Safety Building won a Silver Award during the 2011 Brick In Architecture Awards.  Carolina Ceramics Burgundy Velour Modulars were provided by Batchelder & Collins in Norfolk, VA.

Located adjacent to King's Fork Middle School and across from King's Fork High School, this facility provides a joint use Fire Station & Fire Department Administration Building with Emergency Operations Center for the fast growing King's Fork area of the City of Suffolk. Early in the design process it was established that this building was to contribute to a cohesive 'campus' aesthetic and be in harmony with the neighboring, pre-existing masonry structures.

Congratulations to RRMM Architects for this outstanding design.
